Nedbank
NEDBANK took R10000 from my provident fund

Business & Finance

Upon resignation on 23/05/2013, Nedbank advised that I'd have to settle my consolidation loan. Then advised that in my loan contract, no where did it state that I will have to repay the balance should I resign. My then benefits consultant advised that he was unable to release my provident fund as he had been advised that I owed money to the bank. Staff banking then advised that its best I pay something towards the loan. I AGREED PURELY BECAUSE I NEEDED MY MONEY. I said th could take R10000. I was also on training and did not have time to be running to the bank. I sent a email to Halalisani Ngema (BC) to advise hm of my dissatisfaction regarding the manner in which my resignation was handled. I also made hime aware that the authority to debit my account was given purely because I needed them to release my funds. Its needless to mention other transactions that took place on my account without my authority. I never charged anyone for such. I was left stranded at AVIS on 23/07/2013 when money was taken by NEDBANK. I had to send a written agreement to make payment arrangements. They didn't care about the fact that they were wrong. All I need is my money.
