Waiting on settlement

Good day
I hve requested a Settlement 2 weeks back and is still waiting on thi letter. I was advised that did not hve the need to call into the callcentre s this can be done online via email. When that did not work I called into the callcentre. I am still waitng even though I was told it was valid for 7 days. When does this 7 days start?
