I have recently recieved a garnishee on my salary from these people for the amount of R2000. (more than half of my basic salary).
I called their offices in last week to speak to one of their agents and the lady I spoke to didnt really help much.
In April 2013 a guy came to my place of work with a card swipe machine and a bunch of docs where he demanded that I sign the bunch amd swipe my bank card so that the amount of R2100 would ne deducted from my bank account for an outstanding loan that I have been unable to pay. I tjen distinctly remember informing this guy that this amount would not ne affordable for me and asked if he could arrange for a lower amount
he then told me to sign the papers and he would them get back to me the following day with a proposal
to avoid the humiliation of the whole episode at my place of work I signed the docs amd patiently waited for him to get back to me . he never did.
I called flemix and to find out firstly why my garnishee was granted in the district of hankey and not in cape town where I reside and secondly why they are charging me 60percent interest on my payments every month. the unhelpful woman reckons to me... Oh well, you s
