I logged a case with the dept on the 25th July. A large number of money was out of my account. To date I have not been able to pay rent or buy groceries for home. I've had to lend, borrow and eat at friends and family because Standard Bank couldn't be bothered to treat as a matter of urgency. I wrote a report on HelloPeter last week and got a response from Standard Bank saying that someone would contact me immediately. It is now nearly a week later and still NO WORD from anyone!!!
All I want is an indication of WHAT IS HAPPENING!!!
I called them again 5 minutes ago and was told "I can't understand what the delay is as the money should have been reversed already", so why hasn't it?? How many reports / phone calls / emails must I send before someone can just call me and tell me what is going on? I did not ask for this to happen...
