Money was illegally taken out of my Standard Bank account by means of . (Someone cloned my card and withdrew cash from my account). I understand that we live in a time where things like this happen. This incident occurred on the 3 MAY 2013. After numerous trips to the bank and many hours waiting on the phone, I am still to receive a call back regarding this matter. It is now the 11 July!!! and i am still to hear a word about my money from the bank. I am appalled at the service of Standard Bank. An institution that gladly takes money from me monthly (a service charge for the protection of my money) and i am yet to see any form of protection. You guys are so quick to take the cash out of my account but to return the money that was due to your poor protection policies for my money- i am yet to hear a beep!!! I work for a large company and each person that has experienced card cloning or is with your bank. Explain this??? how is it possible that every person that has been a victim of this form of banks with Standard Bank...
