We recently completed our building of our new home and went through FNB, from day 1 we had various problems with regards to progress payments etc. but the latest was now for the past 3 weeks, we were told you can only apply for your bond to be a flexi bond once the final payments was made, we did and are still waiting for feedback, then every time you phone you hang on for 10mins with no answers. Also, the staff at Lynnwood branch in the Grove mall are absolutely pathetic, they do not phone back and seem to be a little clueless about their products or services. i am still waiting to hear from them, but i stated that i will be taking all my accounts and bond to a different bank who would like to do bussines with me.
