RCS storecard incompetence

I opened a Cape Union Mart account in Eastgate and their storecard is managed by RCS. When I opened the account I never received statements. Every month I complained until they figured out that they loaded my PO Box incorrect from the application form and I was told it was rectified. Over the last 3 months every single time I have made a purchase they had to phone in for manual authorisation andI was told there is a block on my card due to return to sender. Every month I am embarrassed at the till and then I have to go through the entire routine of verifying myself (so I am being punished for RCS's incompetence) and I am fed up. I have never in the last 5 years missed an account payment, I have a perfect credit record and I use my storecard for convenience. Due to RCS incompetence I had the same problem 4th month in a row this morning so I am giving up. I requested Thuli to please give me a settlement amount so I can close my account immediately at Cape Union Mart. She then informed me that I cannot close my account without written instruction which I obviously cannot do while standing in the store. Shame on you. I will never open a store account where RCS is involved EVER!!!
