Same mistake AGAIN

I complained about the bad service from RCS last week and it happened to my husband again a few days ago. He was in Midas, and the card was declined again
Apparently they put a block on his account because his purchase was too high. i don't understand how this keeps happening and why we have a credit card if we cant utilise it. RCS has to be one of the worst financial services companies we've used in terms of their feedback and correspondence. He dialled the 727 number that shows what credit we have available and it says 8000.00 but we cant use it. One of the clerks in store said it happens to RCS clients all the time, is this what we can expect all the time?
