In November 2012 I changed employers' and with that my salary date changed as well. I made Standard Bank aware of this via telephone and requested my debit order date for my loan be changed for this reason - my account was debited accordingly for the subsequent months. All of a sudden this month you decide to put the debit order through a day before my salary date. Seriously!? Was this just so that I can be charged the 'unpaid item' fee? I can understand when payday is on a weekend and the debit order is sent the Friday and agree with it. But come on, this is absurd. Now I am unnecessarily out of pocket with the R115 and listed as a 'late payer' because you did not receive the installment on time. Thanks Standard Bank, if this is how you treat customers after 22 years! So so disappointed right now
