Wow- what teriible service received from Absa call centre this morning. I, as per the sms, I received called 0860008600 to cancel my Internet banking I got sent from pillar to post as I first spoke to Jerral Simms who by the way told me that I had to go into the branch to cancel my Internet Banking?? Then why call it Internet Banking if I have to do transactions "in-branch"?? He then advised me that I had to speak to the debit orders department regarding an sms I receveived for a double debit on my Internet subscription. This same Jarrel said he'd put me through to the debit order department, of which he put me through to the wrong department. I then spoke to Thabo Tshabalala who also advised me to go to another department. As you can imagine my frustations at this point for being sent from pillar to post!! I then came out to a Pagan Pellwani- who was also trying to send me to a "different department for my double debit query as she is telephone banking". Until her supervisor Corne came on the phone. Only then did aI get some help. This is such a terrible service and oh, the thing I called for (to cancel my Internet Banking subscription) is still not done!!
