Poor Response, pathetic customer service

I've been out of debt counselling for more than 1 year, I've settled all my accounts. Standard bank is after 1 year still getting back to me.
In the meanwhile, I pay my accounts, but the outstanding balance never seems to be reducing. So I call the call centre, what do they tell me - I'll transfer you I don't have access. (this is after I called three times on 1 day and just got cut off. So eventually I get to a department that says, we don't have access to give you info on your account, and the people that do don't take calls. email them. So I email, but I never get a response.
This has been repeated at least once every 2 months for the past 14 months. Frustration beyond believe!
What kills me, is that I pay, but my balance are never reduced. So for 7 years I've paid interest and penalties, and my balance outstanding is still more than my initial credit amounts! this rate I will never be done paying.
