How long must one wait???

I sent my application for my provident payout via speed post on the 29th of april 2013, which they only put on the systen the 8th of may 2013. They said it will take 4-12 weeks to be finalised, the 8th of august it will be 12 weeks. I phone them when they say I must, but keep getting an answer saying "its still in the system". Phoning them entitles you waiting in a que, taking from 5 minutes to 20 minutes... and then u havn't even spoken to someone. Other people I know, applied after me, and theirs is finalised already, taking them 4 weeks from when their application was submitted. Why is it only my application that's taking so long??? Can someone help me pls??? Phoned again this morning and was NOW told it will take up to 4 months before I can receive my money!!! This is unacceptable!!! This is my money, money due to ME! I am loosing interest on this money.
