Standard Bank Teller Takes My Card Left Me Hungry

I went on Holiday from CPT to Durban from the 21/07/2013 - 28/07/2013. On Wednesday 24/07/2013 I booked to stay at Tugela. Unfortunately the people dont take cards so I went to draw money from Spar. As soon as I put my card in the machine my card was swallowed by the teller!!! I am on holiday, have no cash on me, am in a rural area (Stanger) and have not eaten for the whole day. I could not pay for accommodation or transport to Tugela and lost my deposit! To top it off I phoned them and there were NOTHING they could do for me.

So I had to stay hungry and without transport and a day lost on holiday because of Standard Bank!!! And they took the card and there is nothing they can do!!! How can you even call this service? Then I had to pay R38 for a new temp card, I had to arrange transport to the bank the following day and sit with a ruined holiday! Is this the service you give customers?

I want to know what Standard bank are going to do to make up for my financial loss, time loss and horrible experience they put me through? As it is I feel like changing to FNB as everyone tells me they have better services than that!!!

I am disgusted by how they left me for "dead"!!! Thaks!!!
