Due to Standard Bank's delayed s.m.s system of what goes in my account and what comes in I'm only getting an s.m.s that my debit orders of the 26th went through today and that my account went in OD by 49 rands yet my salary went through on the 27th and thought all was sorted only to find out that I have been also debited with R115 for that unpaid.
I'm highly disappointed in this system for Standard bank which just returns items without no Human factor to analyze the history of the client and which notifies us of debits 2 days later bcz if I was notified of this R49 short in my account the day it happened surely I could have provided for it the same day and made sure my very clear banking record record remained the same, yet I have a R55 000 Salary which was obviously going to come in there and which could have been avoided if the s.m.s of the debits had come on the same rightful day they went through. Last month a of R500 was done again on my account.
Before the end of week I will make sure I close this stupid account and open an account with a bank who knows how 2 treat their loyal& high net worth clients with respect. That I have to do!!!
