Sheer desperation&frustration has led me to posting this matter on Hello Peter. My app for a perm job was declined due to Nedbank incorrectly listing my joint home loan account on bureaux as in arrears when in fact the account is paid up to date and has no arrears, the same acc is also listed as Default/Adverse on bureaux of which I wasnt contacted by Nedbank prior to listing. I've contacted Nedbank telephonically regarding the matter on countless occasions in th last week &it would appear their organisation is filled with individuals who arent competent to perform their functions/refuse to understand my query. I dialled their 'ask once' line& the agent there was just clueless! I even took off from work on Sat: 20/7/13 to visit the branch& met with more incompetence and was told that there's only 1 person, a Mr Moodley, in the entire comp. who's able to assist, turns out not even he was unable to assist! 3 of the agents in their general enq dept advised i could b provided with such proof via fax/email. On follow up i was told the prev3 agents provided me with incorrect info&infact cant b given requested proof. If I am not contacted by a rep who can assist me I will contact the Ombudsman!
