Pension only transferred after 17 months

I need to understand what happened, as I lost out on compound interest. Pension transfer from one company to the next can't possible take 17 months. That is ridiculous. I need to know what happened as someone is responsible for me losing out on interest.

The best part is that the pension was transferred after I left that pension as well.

I need a response and just to tell me you are working on it is not an answer. You go through the file and tell me who was responsible for the delay, that I can take the appropriate actions.
