DELAYED PAY OUT

I applied to have my pension paid out from August 2012. My documents got delayed at the pietermaritzburgh office literally for months. The same documents have been returned to the employer for rectification of minor mistakes twice. The 2nd time was in early september and I was told the process will take less than the "traditional" 60 days as only one document needed to be re-verified. I was assured by the call center agents (3 times) that my pension will be paid out within 2-3 weeks but nothing happened. I re-contacted GEPF on the 13/10/2013 & was transferred to a supervisor who told me my documents had not been verified and they still had send them to SARS before payment. I really do not understand the source of the delay. Its a year now since this application was submitted.
