Deposited Money not Reflecting in my Account!

I deposited money into my account via the ATM service in Mabopane Central City.

I received a receipt showing that the transaction was successful, after a few days I realised the money was not reflecting in my account I then went to query the problem with my branch in Lynwood - the Grove Mall.
The Enquiries consultant was very rude and told me there was nothing they can do as the ATM could have been tempered with - even after I showed her the receipt {the only proof I had}. She still had the nerve to roll her eyes and tell me it's not the Bank's problem.

I would like to find out why Standard bank Issues receipts if this will not help trace our deposited funds. The bank needs to account for our monies. It is evidently clear that the lousy excuse is being given to a lot more of your loyal customers and this will only drive away more potential customers!
