Failure to assist a client

I am a Old Mutual client with 2 accounts, 1 for a Life Cover Policy & a Funeral cover for my son and I. The premium for 1 policy deducts at the end of the month, the 2nd one deducts in the middle of the month, the premium that deducts in the middle of the month inconveniences me & my budget therefore I requested Old Mutual to change this arrangement. Firstly I spoke to 3 of their representatives telephonically 3 times requesting this arrangement to be changed, that was some time in April, but nothing happened. I have been to the Centurion Mall branch 3 times requesting the same thing, at one time I was asked to submit a bank statement, this costs me money, but I did it anyway, for nothing because they never used that bank statement. In total I have requested a change in my premium payment dates 6 times without success.

To make matters worse, they have cancelled my account that deducts In the middle of the month (Funeral cover) without notifying me. What would have happened if my son passed away while I thought I have a Funeral cover only to find that the cover was cancelled & non existent?

I do not recommend Old Mutual for anybody
