I went to open an account at a Capitec Branch in Bedford, like all customers i was greeted with a smile by a service consultant, and ask to seat down, I came prepared made copies for them, and also brought my original Green Bar Coded ID Book, payslip and three months bank statements, a consultant requested my original ID and proof of Address, and he went to the corner with the assistant manager by the name of Lucian Padayachee, after few seconds consultant comes back and tells me they can't help me because my ID has been tempered with, basically implying that I am a! They never even took my work number or tried to go extra mile to even check my other documents, the manager himself never came to me to address this issue, he just sent the puppet to come and tell me they refusing to help me. I felt insuslted by the arrogance of that manager at that bank. Furthermore when i call to request senior satff numbers, they (Sithembile) refused to give me the numbers. I regret the minute i walked into that branch and i will advertise to my journalist friend this type of Attitude ASAP! Capitec has grown so fast that they chase away Customers!!! WOW!
