ITC Listing for account

An enquiry was done on my credit report in 2012 which I never consented to. I approached std bank and it seems that my ID was used to open an exemption 17 account at standard bank. I have requested that the account be closed and the enquiry removed off ITC. Its been a year now and the enquiry still remains. The enquiry is affecting my credit scoring.
