Money not beubg returned for incorrect debits

For a bank that promises good service and uses a slogan like ' how can we help u' FNB is not doing a good job about keeping its promises to its customers. I had a personal loan with FNB which I paid off before before the date of maturity. I paid up the settlement amount which was given to me by FNB employees as per their system on 22 of June and was informed that the account was closed. To my surprise I got debited with the installment amount on 25th of June 2013. I went back to the bank and I was assured that it was a mistake which will be rectified and that the funds will be returned to me within 3days. This did not happen. I went back to FNB a week later to enquire about the matter and I was informed that a follow up email was sent to the accounts department and that the money should be iunt in 3 days. Again this did not happen. It is so easy for the bank to take ur money but not easy for them to return it. This is really unacceptable. If it was a customer not paying interest would have been levied on top of the outstanding amount and yet again we as customers cannot charge interest on money owing to us. It is almost a month and this has still not been rectified.
