Making an additional payment on bond

I was lucky enough to make an additional payment on our bond from our Standard Bank account to our Homeloan also with Standard Bank. I was told by a member of staff in another branch of Standard Bank that you were allowed to make 1 extra payment per month with no fees. I have just checked my statement to notice that I have been charged R25 for transferring monies from my account to the bond. That is ridicules and why when I was told there was no charge.
