I have now been married 2 years and as changing documents goes, you have to go through the long process take the time from your busy schedule and go to the bank, when you take take the time and go and get this tedious task done, you expect that it will be done and completed as per your request.

Well not with STD Bank. I went shortly after the wedding and changed my profile to Mrs Sharoma Mahadeo as this is now my married name. The profile was updated. Then I started receving my electronic e-statements (comes on a monthly basis) and I realised that my name on the email and on the statement is Mrs S Siomangal (which is my maiden surname). I physically went into the bank and asked them to rectify this and I am thinking that this was in March this year, they said it would be done by the end of the month. I waited and when i received my statement at the end of April it was STILL the same name. I went back into the bank and they said it will be sorted out, end of May still same name. It is now the July and I am still Mrs S Siomangal. STD Bank, this is most disappointing and frustrating as now i dont even have proof that i am the person using the account! UNBELIEVABLE and DISGUSTING!!!
