Money taken from my account by ABSA

I went to draw money at a ATM on 14 July. Got message "insufficient funds" and the transaction got terminated. After checking my account Monday morning I see that the R1000 was taken from my account. I have logged a complaint with my personal banker Koketso Maroane. She has logged a complaint with the ATM department ref no 2433798. After mailing her this morning I was told that it will take another 5 working days to resolve. That will 11 days after money was taken from me and who says that it will be resolved by then. It is unacceptable. I know it's only a R1000 but what if it was a person who only had a R1000 left for the month. I know you must hear this everyday, but after 17 years with ABSA I think it's time to move to another bank.
