Standard bank customer assist service or lack thereof is pathetic. I submitted an application form to them on the 19th of June and was told they have a 15day SLA which is exetremely long. On the 11th day, since I haven't received any feedback I tried calling them but was on hold to long so I mailed them. The feedback I got was that they have high volumes which is affecting their turnaround time which in my opinion shouldn't be the clients problem no matter what the service is that the bank is providing. They don't even stick to their 48hr turnaround time for emails I am still waiting on feedback on a mail I sent to them on the 9th of july. Clients need to know whether or not their bank can help them or whether they should seek help elsewhere. They don't want to be given the run around. Why isn't standard bank doing anything to improve their service, from what I can see is that most of the std bank assist complaints are of the same nature which is their lack of service. This is to date the worse service I have received from any company
