6 weeks to repair car and still not ready!

I lodged an accident claim on 23/5/13 & took it to the assessors on 24/5. I did not hear from them again until 7/6, when they told me I could take it to Auto Magic panel beaters. I tried numerous times calling them during this time, to no avail on the direct line I had been given, each time going through the call centre and speaking to a different consultant each time. It transpired that my claims consultant had done nothing with it for 4 days!
My car went for repairs on 10/6. I have not heard from DD to follow up at all. Auto Magic has had my car for a month & it still isn't ready. Every week, they have suddenly found additional parts that need replacing, weren't on the quote & weren't identified when the car was stripped. The latest being a head lamp bulb & wheel arch moulding. Strange when I smashed the head light, damaged the bumper & wheel arch panel.
Auto Magic I have found are completely incompetent & have to me on more than one occasion on when parts have been ordered, when they will arrive & when my car will be ready!! They just don't seem to care. I should not be the one liaising between DD, Auto Magic & Hyundai for status. After all this, I still have to pay excess.
