Outsurance
Four Hours in Heidelberg. Towtruck in Cape Town!

After towing my friend to Mossel Bay in my new 2nd hand vehicle, the inevitable happens on the way home.
As an Outsurance client, I happily contact their customer service.
I phonetically (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, etc) spell out my nearest turn-off and other details to the agent who says he will get back to me with an update shortly.
About an hour later I call to find out what is happening.
The agent provides a "021" contact number for the tow-truck company...
Upon contacting the tow-truck company, the receiver confirms my worst fears: Outsurance provided the wrong details. OUTSURANCE CONTACTED THE WRONG TOW TRUCK COMPANY AND PROVIDED THE WRONG DETAILS!
Four HOURS later, a bakkie arrived from Swellendam. Not a tow-truck.
I now have to keep my wits in the dark whilst being towed on the N2 with a short tow rope (note that I also have a trailer!) to Heidelberg where the car will be towed on to Swellendam at a later stage. (no engine running means misted up wind-screen!)
It has been four weeks now.
I have cancelled my Outsurance contract.
It also appears that the tow-truck company has swindled me out of R15, 500 for repairs to my car... But I hope that's not another story!
