I've waited for a week before I can post another complaint, but I want everyone to know how absa does business. Once again they proofed that they are completely incompetent. I complained last week that absa does not respond or do what one asks. After the complaint I was phoned and it seemed like everything was sorted out. The next morning I received information that an unauthorized transaction occurred the previous day. I was informed that a case needs to be opened and so it goes on and on and on. I did not have any such incidents in the whole year when not being in contact with absa, but just after absa contacted me this occurred. A case was opened and I was assured the transaction will be reversed. This morning I received a sms saying I can go and collect my new credit card. Obviously when I got to the post office I was informed they require a new reference number which is to be expected. WHERE IS THE NEW REFERENCE NUMBER? So I am concluding that you have incompetent people checking up on the incompetent staff. NICE
