NO SERVICE - NO PAYOUT - NO CARE POLICY

Business & Finance

0n the 6th June 2013, I was involved in an accident which was not my fault. The other party claimed total liability. Not only was my bakkie a write off but also I was injured.
In April of this year, I was approached by a broker who I thought was giving me a good deal. My bakkie was insured for R96K. This being for a 2012 GWM Bakkie. I have been following up with the broker, who keeps on saying he will come back to me. On Friday the 28th June 2013, I did some follow -up with Santam direct. I confirmed with Ethal that yes, they were trying to get some details from both the broker and the assessor but nil was written on their data base to date. I then followed up with the Assessor, who wasn't even sure if he had received documents received from the broker. All documentation was sent 2 weeks ago. Today he tells me the car is only worth R87K and me being a working person who has to do finance still owes R77K. Therefore at the end of the day I am worse off being a safe driver. I now have to buy a bakkie with a deposit of R10K, whereas I originally placed R30K on deposit on deposit and bought myself a new car.
Now I am out of pocket, all I want is was is what I had.
