I submitted a claim and apparently I wasn't supposed to, but no one even told me, because the other party's insurance (who is responsible for the accident) is not going to pay the access amount (which is stupid because why pay R 7000 if you can pay R 2500?). Apparently I must have only send two quotes along with other documents to Santam and then they will pay the amount of the lowest quote out to me. I have sent all the documents on the 11th of June and I received immediate response that it has been received. The person handling that for me is Hlubi Mehlomakhulu. The first time one of the documents was wrong and he immediately replied. I sent the correct document a few days later and he replied that same day to say that all the documents has been received. On the 22nd of June I sent an email to ask whether there is any news yet and no reply. On the 26th I sent another email to ask if he received my previous email and still no reply. How is it that when I sent him the documents, I received immediate response and now I don't receive any? I am seriously off about this! I have been driving for 2 months with a car that has a bump at the back and it has started to rust already!!
