HDI debiting my account on behalf of FNB

Today my capitec bank account was debited by HDI on behalf of FNB.

How does a large financial institution like FNB debit people's bank accounts with out prior notification or authorization?

Another reason i'm glad i left them,

Another reason how if i with draw my entire "available balance" do i get told i over drew my account, with no explination
