Settlement lette

I phoned the collections dept 2 weeks ago requesting the settlement letter for a written off loan, so i can clear it and update my credit profile.
i was told it will be emailed to me, i called again 3 times last week and everyone is telling me the same thing.
i understand i will receive 50% off since the account is a write off however i want it in writting so i can make the payment as soon as possible.
i was also promised that as soon as i make the settlement amount the 360 flag will also be removed.
