Credit Card application taking

Surely a credit card application shouldn't take 2 weeks to process? And I haven't even received the quote yet! I had to mail the necessary documents 3 times - to different email accounts and followed up 4 times, each time to be told it's been "escalated". To where I ask you??? Now that you've got me to switch banks (which took 3 days, well done!) the rest of your services are terrible!
