First National Bank
Misleading advert for good service delivery

Business & Finance

FNB are misleading the public with their millions of adverts with regard to how easy it is to switch over to FNB. I have been struggling for two months and still no joy. I completed the debit switching form and handed it in at the Woodlands Branch in Pta almost 2 months ago to make sure that everything will run smoothly once my debit orders go off from my FNB account. Only today after 2 months I got an SMS from FNB saying that I must please resubmit my forms because the documents wasn't very clear. Really??? I thought it's so easy to switch over. Why didn't anybody notify me from the start that the documents weren't clear? They just kept on telling me that everything will be ok and that I don't need to worry. Who is going to pay my bank fees for debit orders that couldn't go off from my ABSA account due to insufficient funds? And how long will it still take for FNB to switch my debit orders? I could have done it myself from the start. Stop giving false information to the public. This is totally unacceptable and I want urgent answers. I struggled with every single account that I opened with FNB and if I don't get answers I'll close all my accounts.
