First National Bank
Time delay 2nd bond readvance

Business & Finance

Where do you go when you realize that you need help- your bank that you trust. In this case FNB Oneaccount and homeloans. What do you do when they are suppose to help but the help offered takes so long that it actually becomes a burden instead of a blessing? Thus I am writing this report. Begin April I applied at FNB for a 2nd bond. I qualified, the process was started which I was told by FNB will take 6 weeks. the amount approved for my second bond would be insufficient for my needs, on 29 May I applied for a readvance on my second property with FNB Homeloans. I was told this would take not more than 2 weeks.
11 June the assessor was tasked, he was suppose to finalize it within 2 days.by 14 june the assessment was still not done at fnb.
My application for the second bond was delayed do to unnecessary confusion at the bank and is still not even with the deed office for registration which i am told may take up to another 15 working days if I am lucky. In the mean time I have obligations which I promise to meat by 18 june, which would have been more than possible if fnb kept their promised time frames. my good reputation and financial status is at risk due to timedelay at fnb.
