BEING BILLED FOR A CREDIT BEFORE I EVEN HAD IT

I would just to view my concerns and I am hoping it will be heard. I received numerous statements in the post about a credit card from absa that i owned and that i was owing them money on this card. i went to the brixton absa and queried this with them i told them on numerous occassions that i dont own a credit card and i never activated this card with them. They kept telling me that they will investigate this and come back to me. I have not heard anything from them in over 3 months. Evenetually i again went to the branch and activated the credit card and there is a amount of R 900 that is being charged before i even owned this credit card. PLEASE I WANT SOME ANSWERS REGARDING THIS, I DONT THINK I SHOULD BE CHARGED FOR THIS! I WANT ANSWERS BEFORE I RESORT TO THE BANKING OMBUDSMAN TO REPORT ABSA.
