Absa bank not keeping to contract

2 years ago i went into absa bank to cancel a debit order with a company that was debiting money off my account after cancelling a contract with them, after standing in line and signing all paperwork involved to stop the debit order on my account i was assured that the debit order would not continue to come off. since then i have opened a cheque account with fnb and have been using my account with absa to save money, i have recently checked my account to see what my balance is and apon further inspection of my transaction history i have discovered that the debit order is STILL coming off my account! how is this possible? after i have signed paper work with absa stating the debit order is to be stopped! who gives them the right to go against my wishes without my permission or even consultation! I need this resolved immediately
