Account on hold for RICA but no notification

I have had a business account with ABSA for many years - on trying to make payment via internet banking on Monday evening I get an error message regarding authentication. Upon phoning the technical dept I am told it relates to RICA. WHY has ABSA not had the courtesy to actually advise me that I need to RICA - OR that they intend blocking my account because it has not been RICA'ed. I am absolutely gob smacked that this is the way ABSA treat the Business account holders, and the ARROGANCE of their unilateral decision to effectively close my account WITHOUT NOTIFICATION. The service I have gotten from ABSA has gotten progressively worse over the past 18 months but this arrogant action on MY FUNDS without notification or the courtesy of a call is totally unacceptable. What right has ABSA got to freeze my finances and embarrass mefinancially as I now cannot process any payment until I have RICA's the account?
