First National Bank
Complcated Application

Business & Finance

My partner and I recently purchased a residential unit in a new development in the V A Waterfront. The seller required a letter from FNB Home Loans confirming that the necessary finance was in place. I required a Home Loan from FNB. I am a boring Accountant, so I understand what the bank required in order to approve the Home Loan. My partner and I supplied the required information, but there was a "catch"... if she sold her "existing" apartment and the proceeds were available prior to registration of the "new" apartment, then we would require a smaller bond, conversely, if the proceeds were not available, we would require a larger bond. This may sound like a "simple" exercise, but I suggest that the readers attempt this... with someone other than Elmine Breedt to assist them!! From the moment that she introduced herself, up until the formal approval, her attention to detail was exemplorary. She not only her grasped and understood the complexities of the application, but went out of her way to ensure that the "problem" was solved... timeously!! Ten out of Ten for service!! If I were a "marketing man", I'd use my case study and Elmine's service as an advert for FNB Home Loans.
