I am really unhappy with the service we as customers receive from Absa. It doesn't matter to which branch you go or in which province, the service is poor.

I have been to various Absa branches, in two different provinces, in the last year and everytime someone else assisted me but up until now, I have not received the services I requested.

It makes no difference if you go to Client Services, a consultant or a manager, nothing is done correctly or even completely.

I have had a cheque account for almost two years. I decided on a cheque account because the fees are less (supposed to be all inclusive, with some conditions off course). I am only supposed to pay a certain amount for all my cards and services but up until now I have been paying fees on everything.

I also requested that my statements be posted to me because I am unable to open their statements received via e-mail. I didn't even request the statements to be e-mailed to me in the first place, they just decided that it would be better... for who? Not me!

I am done... no more going into branches and wasting my time... maybe I should move to FNB... they offer everything ONLINE!
