Pension fund payout

My husband applied for his amplats pension fund to pay out nearly 9 weeks ago. Everytime that we phone, seeing as there is no feedback from them at all, we are told that it would still be 5 to 10 days. when i phoned them again today I was told that it would be another 5 to 10 days. The last time we phoned we were told that everything was in order and that they are just working through the papers. Nobody seems to be able to give us a truthful answer. Every person we spoke to just says 5 to 10 days. Is there no one there that knows what is going on?
