Standard bank cheap tricks to take consumers money

When i visited std bank in April looking for a business loan, the first thing the consultant did was open an account for me. she said it was compulsory, and that the loan application could not proceed without it.
2 weeks after that, my loan was declined, but the account had gained account / service fees.

now i say that the consultant did not explain that to me clearly.

I have since seen her, and she said someone from the Southdale branch would call me to resolve it, but no one has. i just keep getting statements demanding payment, but i will not pay.
I have also seen another consultant, who said she had formally recorded my cancellation request, but could not comment on the service fees accumulated.

also, when my wife went in last year to cancel her credit card, the consultant said she had done it and cut up the card, but a fee was going off her chq account to pay for the credit card which was on a debit balance (good for us), and her credit card remained active. Another cheap stunt to retain a customer. up to now her credit card is paid off but money goes off her chq account.

no one at the bank seems to now why...(obviously)
