Good day

On the 04 April 2013 i called in to cancel my greenlight policy with Old Mututal. I was told that i had to fax a written letter stating the reason i would like to cancel. I did so. I then called in and confirmed that my letter was received and that they would cancel my debit order as well. The debit still went off my account end of April. I then wrote another letter instructing them to rectify it immediately and refund me as i sent the cancellation letter a month in advance. Still No reply. I know they did receive all letters as i called in again to confirm & i have transmission reports to confirm the faxes also. Low and behold, another debit went off end of May again, but i had changed banks so i was charged an "unpaid item charge" of R138.00. I would like a refund of R206 for the debit which went off end April/R206 for the debit end of May and R138 for the unpaid item charge. Total = R550.00 before i go directly to the ombudsman and take this matter further.

I am very disgusted with the bad service i received and would never recommend Old Mutual to anyone in future, as a result.
