I recently switched to FNB after being told how easy the process would be. After I had spoken to them and opened the account they said that I would need to fill out a debit order switching form, but it would take around 6 weeks for the debit orders to be changed. For this reason I decided to phone my creditors myself and switch my own debit orders. I then order a smart device from them. I was told I needed to fill out the switch form, which I then went into the bank and did. I have received numerous sms's since requesting the form for my order to be processed. After many calls to them and being told that I had to wait three months for the device, my order has now been cancelled because of not having the switch form. Somewhere there is a massive communication failure between divisions and despite numerous requests for feedback, no-one calls me back.
