Failing to order my bank cards

Standard Bank opted to change accounts /- a month ago without informing the customers. This resulted in a number of embarrising situations where i could not perform transactions with my savings account. This also cost me money as i would have to draw money from other banks to do my business. I called the bank upon which i was told that the accounts were changing. I went to the Glen, was given a temp card and was told my new card would be there in 5-10 days (17th of May). I followed up today and was told that my card was never ordered???
What is going on, i've been a client of SB for more than 25 years. Is this how you reward loyalty?
I have asked for feedback with the card division before lunch time today.
