The worst experience ever!
Due to technical difficulties my online account facility took two days longer than claimed to approve, i got it approved after several calls and spending R100 on calls eventually. this only to find they've given the wrong access so i cant transact on the account, so a few more calls and i am told try tomorrow.
i was wanting to swap funds ad couldn't so now Ive lost R2500 because of this and who knows how much more until their issues are solved.
Their broker brought the forms to me with R1000 in fees, I never even requested one so i queried this and found that i had an option which i was not told of. So now i am fighting to get that reversed.
its impossible to get through to the person you looking for in the call centers, calls get dropped, mails take days to respond to.
In fact it took two weeks for the investment just to go through and i had to call them to see whats going on and for policy numbers etc.
Other companies do these things in a day or two and keep you updated within hours.
To anyone reading this don't use Stanlib i recommend coronation any day.
I am going to take this to the banking Ombudsman and get an attorney to look into this.
