Somerset West Standard Bank never contacted me since I queried on 16 May 203.
Standard Bank has without my permission debited an instalment from my FNB account. I, on the 15 May 2013, went to the bank and queried and insisted on the instalment being reversed as I had an agreement in which I pay the loan through my lawyers. A written agreement between my lawyer and Standard Bank signed months ago. They apologised and a consultant by the name of Portia from Gijima Customer Query handled my complaint. Reference number given:53234345. I was told by the consultant the instalment will be reversed within 2 working days.
I gave Standard Bank 5 working days after which I returned to the bank only to find out the transaction has never been processed at all. I was furious. I was leaving the country permanently 2 days there after. The branch manager was disinterested, on his way to lunch. It's 30 May, still not reversed, no follow up whatsoever. I wasted 500baht in calls yesterday, no results, they still havenot reversed my monies.
