It takes forever to settle a claim

I took travel insurance for my trip to thailand last year november and since i returned late november, it has been taking forever to resolve a medical claim.

It took the policy in good faith and payment was made immediately and now to resolve the claim takes for ever by Chartis.

Why doesnt chartis ask for proof of payment using my standard bank card before i take the insurance. The delay was due to the fact that when i made the claim, they wanted proof of my making payment with my standard bank card. So i had to wait for the statement from "delayed standard bank" as well. Revisit your procedures.
Such a pathetic service but yet when i received the policy, it was printed will all the bells and whistles.
Your call centre agents are also just as pathetic with the service delivery.
I contacted them now and spoke to and agent. Told him i want to speak to claims manager, was on hold for a few minutes and then transferred (without seakin to the agent again) to your automated "rate the agents service"
