I have a problem with what has transpired last night with my sister's account in fact it's so alarming that i am moving all my accounts away from Fnb and she will too and so will her husband. The e-wallet Service isn't the sharpest tool in the shed or product that Fnb has, this isn't the first time. Yes by accident she has sent an amount to a cell phone number which we typed in one number incorrect number by mistake, it sent the funds, but when calling that number or even finding out from network providers the number "doesn't exist."
Why doesn't then FNB by default Return the funds back to the bank account as they would if it was an invalid bank account.
The Cell phone number doesn't exist which means it's invalid and isn't allocated to anyone and cause e-wallet doesn't have reversals, why doesn't the bank reverse these funds?
Is this Fnb's way of stripping people of their money?
Cause it's a loss for the consumer.
This is the second time this happens and it seems like Fnb isn't taking our queries and concerns seriously. As consumers and customers, we have contributed to this bank becoming world Class and the best and biggest but yet we get done in by it.
Please get our Funds back!
